I have received teaching grants through Donors Choose, Teach to Inspire, and MTNA. I perform regularly with orchestras throughout Georgia and was a member of the Grand Rapids Symphony for ten years. In June, 2019, I attended the Bornoff String Workshop in Charlottesville, VA.
Memberships: Georgia Music Educators Association, American String Teachers Association, American Federation of Musicians
Interests: When not teaching, I am often performing, either in an orchestra or perhaps at a church or for someone’s wedding. I performed in the orchestra for Josh Groban when Oprah Winfrey came to Macon in 2007 and have played SciFi concerts at Dragon Con in Atlanta. I enjoy reading and being entertained by my four cats. I am married to another violinist and my two daughters, both Vineville graduates, are college students majoring in scenic art and graphic design. |
